Leor Rotchild

Consultant, speaker, author, and event strategist, Leor Rotchild helps purpose-driven organizations scale their impact.

Leor Rotchild is the CEO of Kavana Partners, a strategy and sustainability consulting firm supporting purpose-driven organizations at moments of growth and change. He is also the founder of Calgary Climate Week.

Previously, Leor served as Executive Director of Canadian Business for Social Responsibility (CBSR), Canada’s national association for sustainability leaders. During his tenure, he led the organization through a period of rapid growth and worked closely with companies across multiple sectors to set credible net zero targets and translate climate commitments into measurable action.

Leor also co-founded a sustainable events company, where he worked with the Calgary Stampede and other major destinations, to deliver award-winning waste management and other environmental programs that produced meaningful community impact results.

He was a senior sustainability advisor to two publicly traded corporations in the energy sector, and a key architect of the Energy Futures Lab, a multi-stakeholder energy transition initiative, which incubated several climate tech solutions and policy recommendations.

Leor is the author of How We Gather Matters: Sustainable Event Planning for Purpose & Impact, a practical guide to leveraging events as catalysts for systems change. The book has been recognized as a best-seller on Amazon and featured by the Calgary Herald.
