Leor Rotchild, CEO
With over 20 years of sustainable business experience, Leor Rotchild is a trusted advisor, facilitator and keynote speaker.
Leor is also the founder of Calgary Climate Week, a major event series designed to bring together business, government, Indigenous leaders, and innovators around practical climate solutions, economic opportunity, and long-term competitiveness.
He wrote the best-selling book How We Gather Matters: Sustainable Event Planning for Purpose and Impact, which distills practical lessons from major events into a strategic framework for designing more inclusive, lower impact, and purpose-driven events.
Previously, Leor served as Executive Director of Canadian Business for Social Responsibility (CBSR), where he led a period of significant national growth, expanding business membership by over 500 percent and supporting dozens of major companies on their net zero journeys.
He also co-founded Do It Green (DIG), a B Corp certified sustainable events company that supported high profile major events in reducing environmental impacts and maximizing community benefits.
Leor draws on an extensive network of sustainability specialists to assemble bespoke teams that deliver high-quality, tailored services aligned with each client’s specific needs.
